Instructions
The Virtual Angiography Suite can be accessed below by pressing the ‘play’ button. Please read the tips provided below to maximize your user experience inside the terminal:
1. The VAS is best experienced in full-screen mode. To do this, click on the box icon in the bottom right hand corner of the window.
2. You can navigate the VAS through free exploration or by following an ordered tour:
- Free exploration: Use your mouse to click and drag. This will allow you to look around the room and press on any objects of interest (blue circles) to learn more. Press on the white circles on the floor in order to move to a new area of the room.
- Ordered Tour: Press on the magnifying class in the top left hand corner and select the first option for “Shielding” from the list. This should launch a pop-up on the right hand side of the window. You can use the left and right arrows at the top of this panel to navigate through all available tags within the suite.
3. Some tags will have additional information available in an extension web-page. You can access these by clicking the link provided within the pop-up information panel.
4. Please also take the time to check out our Wires and Catheters resource – these include custom made infographics providing an introduction to the most common types of tools used in interventional radiology. These files are available for viewing and downloading.
